Winter Richmond Pick-up League

Information for the 2025 season will be released by 10th December 2024.


Join us for Pick-up ultimate! All adults and youth 15+ are welcome to drop in and start throwing.

Pick-up is a great way to get extra playtime without commitment, meet new people and enjoy the winter weather. Due to the nature of a drop-in program, game formats may vary weekly depending on the number of attendees.
 

Playing Info

  • Format: Pick up league weekly scrimmages with varying format
  • Duration: January 20 - April 20, except Family Day weekend (February 17) and Easter weekend (March 30)
  • Timeslot: Saturdays - 7:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Schedule: 2 hrs per session
  • Location: Hugh Boyd Community Park
  • Age: Adults (19+) and Youth aged between 15 to 18 years as of December 31st of the ongoing year. 
  • Inclusivity: All players are welcome, including LGBTQ2+ and transgender.
  • Equipment needed: Water bottle, Cleats or runners can be used on synthetic turf fields, but we recommend cleats. Everyone must bring a dark AND light t-shirt.

How to Register

Complete these steps to register:

  1. Registration will be open on a first-come, first-serve basis once registration opens. 
  2. Registration is completed online.  We accept payment by credit card, Visa Debit, or e-transfer. 
  3. If a player U19 registers themselves, they must also get Parental Consent. Emails are sent to the player and parent/guardian with instructions.
  4. Read the before your register page and then register online once registration opens. Note that Adult pick up will show up under Adult Programs.
