U19 Skills Series - Learn Through Play (Intermediate to Advance Level)

This program is designed for high school athletes who want to sharpen their skills and raise their in-game IQ. Each session blends focused teaching with live gameplay, so players learn by doing and immediately apply new concepts in action.

The first hour introduces a specific game scenario and breaks it down through explanations and targeted drills. The second hour is dedicated to small-sided scrimmages, giving players the chance to experiment, make decisions under pressure, and put new skills into practice right away.

Coaches are active on the field during scrimmages, modelling techniques, giving quick feedback, and highlighting the finer details of leadership, communication, and smart decision-making.

This program is the perfect environment for U19 athletes who want to push their game forward while learning in a competitive but supportive setting.

We’re making the experience even more memorable. Expect more media coverage throughout the season, with photos and videos shared so athletes and families can relive their best moments. At the end of the program, we’ll wrap things up with a celebration and awards banquet, recognizing growth, effort, and team spirit. It’s the perfect way to close out the season and create memories that last well beyond the fall.
 

Program Information for 2025

• Format: Development program with a mix of drills, activities and scrimmages
• Duration: 10 weeks
• Locations & Times: Winona N - 12:00 pm to 2:00pm (Saturdays)
• Age: 14-18 years old (as of December 31st of the ongoing year)
• Inclusivity: All players are welcome.

Important Dates for 2025

Cleats or runners can be used on synthetic turf fields, but we recommend cleats. Everyone must bring a dark AND white t-shirt, or order one online during registration.

 Fees for 2025

• $250 (including GST and VUL membership)

How to Register

Complete these steps to register:

1. Registration will be open on a first-come, first-serve basis once registration opens.
2. Registration is completed online.  We accept payment by credit card, Visa Debit, or e-transfer.
3. If a player U19 registers themselves, they must also get Parental Consent. Emails are sent to the player and parent/guardian with instructions.
4. Read the before your register page and then register online once registration opens.
