
Reign Invite is one of Metro Vancouver’s largest school tournaments, featuring teams travelling in from Surrey to the North Shore! This tournament has junior and senior divisions, and is a BCSS-sanctioned event.
As space is limited, teams will be permitted to compete on an invite-basis. See the application form for full information on eligibility and deadlines.

Playing information for 2026
- Date: April 11–12 2026
- Format: Mixed 7v7 Tournament for High School Teams
- Schedule: 8:30am–6:00pm on both days. Teams will play up to 3 games daily.
- Location: South Arm Park in Richmond, BC (8680 Williams Rd)
- Age:
- Juniors - Ages 13–15 (Grades 8-10)
- Seniors: Ages 15–18, or 13–18 if the school has no junior team (Grades 10-12 or Grades 8-12 if no Junior team)
- Inclusivity: All players are welcome, including 2SLGBTQIA+ and transgender

Getting to the tournament
- 🚌 Take public transit! Fields are accessible via the 408 bus from Brighouse Station, or the 408 bus from Steveston Highway and Highway 99.
- 🚗 Driving? Carpool to reduce this tournament's carbon footprint. Parking is available near the tennis courts, pool, and Whiteside Elementary. Additional on-street parking is available on Ryan Rd, and satellite parking at Bridge Elementary.
Gameplay
- As a BCSS tournament, gameplay follows USAU 11th Edition Rules, with the following modifications:
- Point cap: Games to 13 points. No need to win by 2 points.
- Half time: Mirror halves at 7 points or 45mins. 5 minute half time.
- Time cap: No soft cap. Hard cap at 75mins. Horns will be blown. Game over after current point unless tied.
- Championship: First place game to 15 points. Mirror half at 8 points or 55mins. Hard cap at 85mins.
- Time-outs: Time-outs are 90-seconds. 1 time-out per half + 1 floater time-out. No time-outs during cap.
- Gender-matching: Teams flip to choose gender-matching ratio for first point. Switch for points 2–3, revert for 4–5, etc. The player pulling the disc must represent the gender-match with 4 players on the field.
- Zone defence is legal in senior divisions only. Footblocks are legal in senior divisions only.
- As per BCSS, players must represent the school they attend. Teams cannot pick up players from other schools.
- For tie breaks: head-to-head results, win-loss, then point differential.
Reporting
- Report game scores immediately by text. Include both team names, scores, and division.
- Report spirit scores to this Google form. Saturday scores due by 9pm.

| Washrooms | Available at the Community Centre. Cleats not allowed indoors. Portable toilets near fields 2 and 13. |
| Water | Water stations are available by Disc Central West, Disc Central East, and by Field 8. |
| Gear | VC Ultimate will be on site Saturday selling Ultimate apparel, including Reign gear and discs. Cash, credit, or debit is accepted. |

Fees for 2026
- Tournament fee: $400 per team. Fees include applicable taxes.
- Registration for this event is to be completed by school staff or team captain.
How to register
- Team applications and registration is completed on a team-basis by school staff or a team captain. Players will be emailed a personalized link to complete individual registration and parental consent forms during the team registration period.
- Registration is completed online. We accept payment by credit card, Visa Debit, or e-transfer.
