Field Closure and Weather Procedure - when games are cancelled due to poor weather.

If another group is using the field when you arrive, follow these guidelines:

Be respectful at all times, of course.
Give them a heads-up that you have a permit and will be starting soon. Most groups leave without any trouble.

If they don't want to leave and/or claim they have a permit:

Ask for the coordinator and name of the group. Show our permits if necessary (above).
Ask to see their permit. They won't have one unless the VUL has made a scheduling error (the Park Board system won't allow double bookings)
If the group refuses to leave the field contact the Park Ranger or City Representative at the following number:

If the Park Ranger or City Representative doesn't come and you ever feel threatened, call the police via the non-emergency number
