Thank You Craig

It is with a mixture of sadness and gratitude that we must announce the departure of long-time Vancouver Ultimate League Executive Director, Craig Woods.

Craig first joined the VUL in early 2008 as League Coordinator, back when we had a printed captains manual and no social media accounts. A few years later in 2011, Craig stepped up to the challenge as Executive Director of our organization. He has been a critical figure in a major expansion of the VUL's membership, programs, services, and personnel over the past 13 years. 

We will post a longer tribute prior to Craig’s last day on June 19.

In the meantime, we thank Craig for his dedication and years of service, and invite you to do the same.
 

Next Steps

The Board will oversee the process of hiring a replacement for Craig, and will work with him and other VUL staff to ensure a smooth transition for members, partners and supporters.

Please see the Jobs page for an Interim Operations Manager opportunity. This role will cover Adult League Management and some duties of the Executive Director until the end of the year. If you know anyone who might be interested, please let them know. Interviews will occur in May.
