Starting Fall 2026, you can now optionally recognize a second most-spirited player in your game reports!

We know that most teams will recognize both a women-matching and a men-matching player after each game. Previously, with only one spot to submit a name, we're missing out on half of these recognitions.

With this update, you can now submit up to two names per game. Recognizing a second player is completely optional, so if your team has always selected just one, you can continue doing so!

Why does this matter?

As spirit is at the core of our game, it's important to recognize those who go above and beyond. Not only do we recognize and award prizes to league leaders at the end of each season, but this information helps guide our annual Vancouver Ultimate Awards ceremony.

The most spirited members across our largest leagues are shortlisted for the Laurel Stroppa Atwood Spirit Award, and the William Arthur Hawkins Spirit Awards, which are the highest honours given to active Vancouver Ultimate Members.

By allowing teams to formally recognize an additional player, we can better celebrate the people who consistently demonstrate outstanding spirit on the field.
