Each year, we recognize the individuals and teams whose leadership, commitment, and contributions help make our community welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant. These awards celebrate the people who strengthen our leagues, support player development, uphold Spirit of the Game, and create positive experiences for others both on and off the field.
This year, we’re seeking nominations for:
- League Captain of the Year
- Community Impact Awards — EDI, Adult, and Youth
- Youth Player of the Year — Leadership and Spirit
- Youth Coach of the Year
If you know a captain, player, coach, teammate, volunteer, or community member who deserves recognition, we encourage you to submit a nomination. Full award descriptions, eligibility requirements, and nomination details are available on our Awards event page.
Nomination deadline: September 9, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
Award recipients will be recognized at Vancouver Ultimate’s 40th Anniversary Celebration and Awards on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 2:00–5:00 p.m. at VanDusen Botanical Garden.
Not all awards may be presented in a given year, depending on the number and quality of eligible nominations received.
